If you wanted to tell the story of Andrea Esperanza-Martinez, AKA Roxanne Redlight,
you’d have to do it with a musical. Or an opera. Or one really good ballad. That’s
because Andrea lives a life of music.

Born into a musical family, Andrea’s early influences ranged from The Beatles and No
Doubt to Broadway musicals and mariachi. In her early teens her father started a family
band which launched her career as a working singer. After completing her education at
the prestigious American Musical and Dramatic Academy in Hollywood, Andrea went on
to become a top 50 finalist on American Idol Season 6. This girl is the real deal…and
once she takes the stage, you won’t be able to ignore her infectious energy and
impressive vocal chops.

After graduating, she was immediately casted into an original musical, Norman’s Ark,
directed by Peter Scheider (producer of Toy Story). Martinez has been featured in
several television shows on VHI, TruTV Estrella TV, and Telemundo, acting roles in
music videos, and commercial work and print for Carmind.com and Suzuki.
Andrea has shared the stage with many notable all-star musicians such as; Brent
Woods (Vince Neil Band), Brian Tichy (Whitesnake), Chas West (Foreigner), and
Stephen LeBlanc (Jason Bonham’s Led Zeppelin Experience) to name a few.
